经过改革开放三十多年 的发展,高等外语院校在人才培养各方面所付出的努力已颇具成效。高等外语院校要以此为基础,继续改革创新,准确寻找人才培养改革的新的突破口,即:以国际化培养为主线, 以学生发展为工作中心,全力培养善于进行跨文化沟通的国际型外语人才。在人才培养定位上和课程设置上,要更加接近国际化需求,创新教育方式,强化思维训练,尤其是要打造高水平、国际化的师资队伍,扩大国 际交流规模,强化交流效果。

Based on the remarkable achievements in foreign language talent cultivation over the past thirty-plus years of reform, institutions of foreign language higher education should pursue a new round of reform by means of expanded and upgraded internationalization,for the goal of cultivating highly competent transcultural talents. To reach this goal, new concepts of talents cultivation for globalization should be adopted,new syllabuses designed, new education modes created,high end and cosmopolitan faculty developed, and international exchange expanded and upgraded.
