摘要
为英语辅修专业学生开设论文写作课,是保证毕业论文质量的基本手段。本文针对论文指导老师和英语辅修专业学生在选定研究方向、选取论文题目、收集参考资料、编制论文提纲、规范格式细节等环节所反映的问题与困难,通过调查与案例分析,介绍某高校英语辅修专业论文写作课从讲座到工作坊的转变。本文认为,英语辅修专业论文写作课强调其任务性和互动性,是解决毕业论文撰写过程主要问题的重要保障。
Abstract
Although considerable research has been devoted to the problems and issues reported by instructors and students about the choice of research field and theses topics, the collection of working data, the writing of detailed outlines, and the first and final drafts of the thesis, rather little attention has been paid to the actual help and guidance that can be provided to the students. This paper argues that, in order to guarantee the academic standard of the graduation theses of students of English as a second major, the thesis writing course needs to be task-based and teacher-student interactive. It has been found that, when presented in the form of workshops, the thesis writing course turned out to be more effective.
