This paper emphasizes the significance of the EAP course development in the Chinese contexts based on the needs analysis concerning 1) the updated and upgraded English syllabi at the primary and secondary levels; 2) the higher educational reform in the way of international exchange program, and 3)both the university students and faculty’s academic ability development.
