本文为刘云虹教授与中国当代翻译研究界领军学者许钧教授围绕翻译批评展开的一次对谈，表达了诸多重要的观点，其中包括: 一、翻译批评在当今中国的有效在场不够，翻译批评遭遇了生存危机; 二、翻译批评者的主体意识和翻译批评的历史意识这两者的重要性尚未得到充分认识; 三、翻译批评的学术合法性基础之一在于它是翻译实践与翻译理论构建之间的互动场域，必须真正发挥翻译批评在翻译理论构建中的重要作用，同时真正让批评介入翻译场域和系统。

This is a transcript of an extensive dialogue on current translation criticisms in China between Professor Liu Yunhong and leading translation studies scholar Professor Xu Jun． Among their major arguments are: 1) contemporary China is acutely lacking in translation criticism; 2) the agency of translation critics is not adequately recognized，nor is the historicizing principle duly observed，both to the detriment of translation criticism; and 3) the academic legitimacy of translation criticism resides in bringing translation theories and practices into productive interplay，furthering the development of translation theories， and effectively intervening in translation practices．
