This paper displays the introduction and development of critical thinking in China, gives an analysis of the present situation and existing problems of cultivating the students' critical thinking in Chinese universities, and discusses how to cultivate college students' critical thinking in Chinese context through the educational strategies such as open-ended teaching, inquiry teaching, logic teaching, the information literacy education, the evaluation methods and the interdisciplinary teaching so as to provide enlightenment and references for the theory and practice of the critical thinking research in China.
