摘要

本文旨在评介加拿大教育学者 Bonny Norton 教授 2013 年出版的著作《认同与语言学习: 对话的延伸》。该书为《认同与语言学习: 性别、 种族和教育改变》 的第二版,对第一版进行了修订: 增加了认同和语言学习的最新研究综述、“想象共同体” 和“想象认同” 概念的介绍以及 Claire Kramsch 的后记。本文将简述该书的主要内容,重点介绍其理论和研究实践的补充,并做简要评介。

Abstract

This paper aims to review Bonny Norton's book Identity and Language Learning: Extending the Conversation ( Multilingual matters, 2013) , the second edition of Identity and Language Learning: Gender, Race, and Educational Change. The second edition includes a new comprehensive introduction, updating the literature on identity and language learning and reviewing the author's insightful ideas that have been proved very productive in this field as well as Claire Kramsch's compelling afterword. This paper introduces the main contents of the book, especially the revised parts, and then provides a brief appraisal.
