摘要

本文采用停顿式听写法( paused transcription) ,比较英语听力中以下各组词的识别率: 实词和虚词,名词和动词,介词词组中的介词和动词词组中的介词。目的旨在通过英语语流中的词汇识别来探究学生听力过程中注意力的分配。结果表明,实词、名词和介词短语中的介词的平均识别率均高于相对应的虚词、动词和动词短语中的介词。另外,研究还发现名词和动词的识别率均较高的学生听力成绩较高,能完整写出介词词组的学生远远多于写出动词词组的学生。

Abstract

Abstract: Adopting the paused transcription method,this research compare the word recognitions of following word categories: content and function words,nouns and verbs,prepositions in prepositional phrases and verb phrases. The aim of this research is to explore the learners' attentional focus in listening comprehension by word recognitions. The analysis of the word recognised indicated that content words,nouns and prepositions in prepositional phrases recognition were higher than those of function words,verbs and prepositions in verb phrases. In addition,the research also indicated that learners with a more balanced noun /verb recognition profile tended to receive high listening comprehension scores and learners who could write down complete prepositional phrases were far more than those who could write down complete verb phrases.
