This paper employes the intersubjective concept of “I-Thou”in philosophy to give a comparative analysis of the Chinese poetry translated by Ezra Pound & Gary Snyder, and finds that they have inherited the themes and artistic forms of Chinese poetry, and influenced in return Chinese poetry in modern history. The conclusion is made that there is an “I-Thou” intersubjective relation between their translation and Chinese poetry.
