“文化翻译学”作为一个术语，是文化翻译学元理论中的基础性概念。本文通过分析文化在翻译研究中的凸显过程，梳理了翻译学界对“文化翻译”的多重解释，廓清了“文化翻译”作为翻译学术语的根本之义，在此基础上探究了文化翻译学的研究内容、学科地位与学科性质，进而对“文化翻译学”概念作出界定，从而为文化翻译学的学科建构确立了原点。

As a term, cultranslatology is a basic concept in metatheory of cultranslatology. Based on analyzing the rising role of culture in translation studies and the different explanations of cultranslation, this paper defines the concept of cultranslation, describes the research scope, discipline status and nature of cultranslatology, and defines the concept of cultranslatology, which establishes an original point of cultranslatology.
