摘要

近年来,伴随国家高招政策的调整,地方高校生源日益多样化,加剧了大学新生英语水平参差不齐的现象。本着因材施教的原则,上海对外经贸大学根据新生入学分级测试成绩将学生分成基础班、普通班、提高班及全英班。不同班级之间在教学内容上实行差异化,在教学形式上实行立体化,使各班的英语水平都得到了相应的提高,达到了预期的教学目标。本文以上海对外经贸大学为例,介绍上海对外经贸大学分层次立体化大学英语教学模式,以期对各高校大学英语教学起抛砖引玉的作用。

Abstract

In recent years, college enrollment is expanding considerably. The makeup of college students and their English proficiency are varied. In order to cater to the needs of students at various levels, the students of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics are divided into four different classes by test score. The content and method of teaching are different among them. At last, the English level of all student has been improved and we achieved the expected teaching goal. Based on a case study, this paper aims to introduce the unique teaching mode of college English at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and shed new lights on college English teaching across the nation.
