摘要
为探寻抑制控制在英汉双语者词汇提取加工中的作用及其在双语产出词汇层面的存在,本实验采用3(抑制控制能力:高、中、低)×2(切换条件:切换和非切换)×2(切换顺序:L1-L2 和L2-L1)×2 (重复条件:间隔重复和即时重复) 混合设计,使用言语流畅性任务范式,要求被试(英汉双语者)在规定的时间内根据颜色提示(红色用英语,蓝色用汉语,或者反之,平衡处理)说出以汉语声母/l/,/j/,/y/,/d/,/b/,/t/或者英语辅音/s/,/k/,/p/,/d/,/b/,/t/开头的单词。结果显示:1)在言语流畅性任务中,较之切换至二语,切换至母语时,学习者汉字提取数目受损更为显著,产生词汇提取的切换不对称现象;2)英汉双语者的抑制能力和词汇切换代价显著性相关,抑制控制能力影响词汇切换代价。上述研究结果表明抑制控制在双语者词汇提取加工中扮演重要角色,且存在于双语词汇加工层面。
Abstract
In order to examine the existence of inhibitory control at the lexical retrieval of Chinese and English bilinguals, the current study adopted 3(inhibitory control capacity: high, mid and low) ×2(switch condition: switch and non switch) ×2 (switch order: L1-L2 and L2-L1) ×2(repetition condition: interval and immediate) mixed research design and a verbal fluency task paradigm in which the participants were required to produce Chinese beginning with phoneme /l/,/j/,/y/,/d/,/b/,/t/ or English words starting with/s/,/k/, /p/,/d/,/b/,/t/ according to the colour cues (red means using English, blue means using Chinese and the color cues were counter-balanced). The results showed 1) in the fluency task, compared with switching to L2, when switching to L1, the participants’ suffering in Chinese lexical retrieval was more obvious. And hence asymmetrical switch cost of lexical retrieval was obtained; 2) a significant correlation was observed between inhibitory control capacity and lexical switch cost. Inhibitory control had a significant effect on switch cost. These results supported that inhibitory control had an important role in lexical retrieval and it worked at the lexical level of bilingual language production.
