本文使用英汉科普平行语料库考察翻译汉语“被”字句的语义韵特征以及在两岸译本中呈现的共性和差异。研究发现，“被”字句语义韵特征在两岸译本整体趋于一致，翻译文本的趋同性得以体现。差异表现在消极义“被”字句在台湾译本的出现频率更高，翻译文本的规范化特征在台湾译本更突出。“被”字句的语义韵特征和受事人称具有很大的相关性。“被”字句语义限制的消解即是欧化使然，又与受事人称演变相关。语义韵也是影响翻译策略的重要因素。

 This paper attempts to examine the semantic prosody of bei passives in translated Chinese, as well as its universals and particulars in the Chinese mainland and Taiwan communities with data exracted from ECPCPS. A comparative approach is taken between English and translated Chinese and between two translated Chinese. The findings show that there is great consistency of the general distribution of semantic prosody between two translated Chinese texts as is featured by the convergence in translation. However, the translated texts from Taiwan bears more resemblance to the conventional Chinese in terms of the differentiation between positive and negative prosodies. Besides, semantic prosody is closely related to the animacy of patients. Presumably the relaxation of the semantic restriction of bei passives is subject to both Europeanization of Chinese and the evolution of patients in bei passives. Semantic prosody also serves as a contributing factor in the translation of English passives.
