摘要
语义波是系统功能语言学的重要概念,学界对语义波的研究主要限于语境与语篇层面,而词汇语法层面涉及较少?本文依据分形原则,探析语义波在词汇语法层的分形构建。研究发现,语义分形的跨范畴与级转移特征?语法压缩与语义扩散的分形途径?词汇选择与语法选择的分形资源等分别构建语义波的不同复杂性分形层级,且语义波体现于不同的语义组织环境,即配列层级体现于串行的逻辑语义,图形层级体现于参与者?过程?成分的核心与非核心 配置,成分层级上环境成分体现于图形建构中的涉入度?
Abstract
The notion of semantic wave is of great value to systemic functional linguistics (SFL), but related studies are only confined to the level of context and discourse semantics in relation to text. This paper intends to explore the lexicogrammar of semantic wave in terms of the fractal principle within SFL. It is found that the distinctive construals of different complexities at different fractal levels can be characterised in terms of transcategorization, rankshift, grammatical condensation, semantic expansion, lexical realization and grammatical realization; semantic wave therefore can be realized at different semantic environments, namely, by serial logic expansion at the order of sequence, by nuclear configurations of participant, process and element within a figure and by degree of involvement in element in the process of figuration.
