摘要

外语教育学被新增为外国语言文学的二级学科,这是外语界长期努力的结果。但是文献调查发现,外语界似乎认为外语教育学的建设是为了满足学科发展的需求,即加强对外语教学的实践和理论研究。本文提出不同的看法,认为外语教育学的建立主要是为了满足社会对外语教师的需求,即培养经过外语教育学专门训练的外语师资专门人才,改变外语专业长期存在的人才培养层次不清、凡是外语专业或外国文学和翻译专业毕业生都能从事外语教学工作的状况。本文提出了外语教育学专业的硕士生培养目标和课程设置。

Abstract

Foreign Language Education Studies (FLES)has been newly added to the secondary disciplines under the first level discipline of Foreign Languages and Literature after years’ effort of the foreign language field. Literature review, however ,finds that the proposal of constructing of FLES is to meet disciplinary development, contributing to the theoretical studies of foreign language teaching practice. The paper holds a different view and believes that to construct FLES is to satisfy the social needs for qualified foreign language teachers in higher education including primary and secondary education, teachers who receive specialized training of foreign language education. This could resolve the problems of foreign language majors which are believed to qualify the graduates for any jobs with foreign language skills. The paper tries to offer the program of objectives and courses of FLES.
