摘要
借鉴前人量具、采用德尔菲专家咨询法编制了中国英语学习者英语思维能力李克特5级量表,测试了近600名被试,用探索性和验证性因子分析对数据进行统计。结果表明:1)量表的总信度达到0.9以上水平,因子间的相关性显著;2)英语思维能力的三因素一阶、二阶结构模型的拟合度较好;聚合效度和区分 效度较好,AVE介于0.430~0.527,CR>0.8。这说明,量表能够反映中国英语学习者对英语的语言、文化特征的把握程度,可以作为测试英语思维能力的量具。
Abstract
On the basis of previous measuring tools, we took the Delphi expert consultation method to design the 5-level Likert Scale for Chinese EFL Learners’ English Thinking Ability. Nearly 600 EFL learners were tested, and the data were statistically analyzed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The results show that: 1) The Cronbach’s α general coefficient reaches above 0.9 and the correlation of each factor is significant; 2) The first-order structural model of three-factor English thinking ability has a good fit and so does the second-order model. The convergent and discriminant validity are good, with AVE values ranging from 0.430 to 0.527, CR>0.8. It can be concluded that the scale can reflect Chinese EFL learners’ grasp of English linguistic features and English cultural traits, and can be used as a tool to test English thinking ability.
