Abstract

This paper, in response to this call, proposes a model of “Speech Sound, Source Text, Sense of English and Specialized Reorientation” to highlight different teaching and learning foci in English education at the three levels mentioned above, taking into full account differences in regions, schools and individuals and paying due attention to stratified reorientations to cater to personal interest and meet social demands for English communication.
