This paper is a practice of positivist examination and research on the Axiom of Spontaneous Positives and Negatives in Language from the perspectives of the Chinese and Japanese languages. I hold that the Axiom has major flaws, and that it must not be the exclusive cause of the formation of recessive negatives in Chinese and Japanese. Based on my own research, I then elaborate on the possibility of the formation of six types of recessive negatives.
