Abstract

Mao Dun spared no efforts to publicize ,translate and consecrate the literature of small and weak nations after he joined Literary Research Association and acted as chief editor of Fiction Monthly . The article draws on Bourdieu ’s social practice theory to explore Mao Dun ’s literary habitus ,the tention of literary field and the way to consecration ,elaborating why Mao Dun made such a choice.
