Abstract

The internationalization of higher education and globalization has impacted EFLT of National Cheng Kung Univer- sity ,Taiwan ,which has reformed its orientation since 2007 ,implementing ESP instruction to equip students with English skills needed in their academic studies. The paper believes ,through the introduction of their reforms — the new curriculum ,teaching materials and teacher development ,that it is important and necessary for the universities in mainland China to follow its step.
