With the formation and improvement of the socialist legal system， language problems and language planning in the field of law have become a hot spot of sociolinguistics． Although the width and depth of the study has been expanded， it is still imperative to study the language planning in this field systematically． This paper discusses the methods of studying language problems and language planning in the field of law in China on the basis of reviewing domestic and international studies of language planning in the field of law． It puts forward an analytical framework of language planning based on diversified subjective levels and various areas for the first time and hopes to promote the in-depth studies in this field in China．
