This paper reviews the recent publication in Routledge’s series of Cognitive Science and Second Language Acquisition, Second Language Sentence Processing by Alan Juffs and G. Rodriguez in 2015. It illustrates the contribution of this book to the field of second language studies and its potential readers in China, followed by and a brief introduction of its content, with a special emphasis on the major questions and experiments discussed. Finally, it comments on the book and its implications to SLA research in China. This book presents a comprehensive review of the latest research findings on sentence processing in SLA, the major theories and research methods in particular, and provides an ideal resource for researchers in this field.
