This study, by surveying 1200 Chinese university students with Intercultural Sensitivity Scale （ISS） made by Chen & Starosta（2000）, tentatively develops a Chinese localized version with good construct validity and reliability through EFA, CFA and Cronbach （ test. The difference between American ISS （including 24 items and five factors, namely, “Interaction Engagement”, “Respect for Cultural Differences”, “Interaction Confidence”, “Interaction Enjoyment” , “Interaction Attentiveness” ）and Chinese ISS （including 20 items and four factors, namely, “Open-mindedness”, “Empathy”, “Interaction Confidence”, “Respect for Cultural Difference”） lies in: “Open-mindedness” factor is newly added, “Interaction Engagement” factor and “Interaction Attentiveness” factor merged into “Empathy” factor and “Interaction Enjoyment” factor deleted.
