Abstract

In August 2010, 2012 and 2014, Chinese Writers’ Association hosted International Symposium on Literary Translation attended by sinologists for three times. Translators’ Dialogue(I、II、III)are collections of speeches from these conferences, which cover four major aspects, that is to say, the state quo of Chinese literature’s going global, translation process, differences between Chinese and western literature, and advice for Chinese literature’s going global. Dialogues between translators inspire us on how to promote Chinese literature’s going global, such as the choice of books to be translated, the orientation of the target readers, translation strategies and the spreading of the translations.
