Abstract

Professor XU Jun’s book Translated Tao and Literary Mind: On the Records of Translated Works records the author’s continuous thinking, exploration and construction of translation studies in the way of “Translation Review” since China’s reform and opening up. It is a historical record of the author’s continuous exploration in the field of translation studies, and it is also an important theoretical, systematic and practical and readable achievement in the fields of translation studies in China recently. Professor XU Jun’s scholar character as a literary translator and his academic wisdom as a translation theorist are integrated in the Records of Translated Works, which summarizes a valuable theoretical wealth for the translation circles in China, and its impact on the future translation research in China will be far-reaching and tremendous.
