Abstract

The Course-based Ideological Politics is currently the focus of all majors’ construction in Chinese colleges and universities. This paper intends to discuss the question: how to carry out the Course-based Ideological Politics in foreign language curriculum. In terms of the cognitive problems, theoretical basis and practical path, this paper explores the following issues: some misunderstandings and even misconceptions encountered in the construction of Course-based Ideological Politics; the theoretical basis and practical path of construction, as well as the internal core and explicit values; and what kind of people foreign language programs cultivate.
