This paper discusses study on translator groups, exploring its objects, significance and approaches. Study on translator groups centers on both renowned and unknown translators, helps to rewrite translation history, fosters interdisciplinary translation studies and sheds light on other translator researches. Such study bases upon specific case studies and constructs connections among different translators through comparison.
