Abstract

This paper mainly explores the macro strategies of political discourse construction approached from the theory of social cognitive linguistics. We argue that in order to achieve the purpose of shaping the social political environment, reshaping the social political power structure, and rebuilding social political relationships through political discourse construction, a universally effective macro social cognitive strategy is the dissolution strategy. The strongest form of dissolution is opposing dissolution, and the next strongest form is confrontational dissolution. This paper mainly discusses how to effectively achieve the purpose of shaping the social political environment by employing opposing dissolution strategy and how to effectively achieve the purpose of reshaping the social political power structure and rebuilding social political relationships by employing confrontational dissolution strategy.
