摘要

《叙事分析手册》一书反映了社会语言学和话语取向叙事研究的最新进展。本文在简述非文学叙事研究的发展及二语和外语教育领域叙事研究现状的基础上,简要介绍此书各章内容;讨论叙事资料来源和类型、分析叙事资料的路径和方法、叙事分析的新近热点和应用前景等方面对外语教育中叙事研究的启示;指出此书有助于外语教育研究者借助微观叙事分析,围绕多种教育情境中的叙事话语开展更多创新性的本土化研究。

Abstract

The Handbook of Narrative Analysis investigates the recent developments of sociolinguistics-oriented and discourse-oriented narrative studies. This paper first gives a brief review on the studies of non-literary narratives, especially in the field of second and foreign language education, and then introduces the main contents of the book. Finally, it discusses how the book can inform narrative studies in foreign language education in terms of sources and types of narrative data, approaches and specific methods of analyzing narratives, recent focuses and possible applications. This paper calls for more localized research by doing micro analysis of narratives that occur in various foreign language teaching and learning contexts in China.
