摘要

近年来随着外语教师发展研究的生态转向,基于Brofenbrenner生态系统理论的外语教师发展研究也逐渐增加,但相关研究在对该理论的认识、研究主题和研究方法方面存在一定的提升空间。基于此,本文首先对Brofenbrenner人类发展生态学理论进行了概述,而后以主题综述的方式对基于Brofenbrenner生态系统理论的外语教师发展研究进行了梳理,着重从对Brofenbrenner生态系统理论内涵的理解、研究主题、研究方法三个角度进行了评述。本文指出,未来研究要关注外语教师与生态环境之间的动态互动、互构,合理运用Brofenbrenner理论,丰富研究主题,采用多种研究方法,深入探究外语教师专业发展的相关议题。

Abstract

In recent years, with the ecological turn of research in foreign language teacher (FLT) development, Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory has been increasingly utilized in studying FLT development. However, there is still room for improvement in the understanding of this theory, related research themes, and research methodology. To address these gaps, the current paper firstly reviews Bronfenbrenner’s theory of human development. It then makes a critical review on the empirical studies of FLT development research guided by Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory in terms of the understanding of the theoretical tenets of this model, research themes, and methodologies. This paper finally offers implications for future research by focusing on the dynamic interaction and co-construction between agents and ecology, utilizing the theories appropriately, enriching the research topics and adopting multiple research methods to deeply delve into topical areas in FLT development.
