对话句法的理论发展和应用已进行了二十年，但它在诸多方面，如关于对话句法现象和共鸣的定义、对话性和互文性的范围、对话句法关系和单位的定义和描述、句法结构分析和映射结构图的改进、共鸣原则与诸多语用原则的共存关系、认知方面的探讨、理论的应用、证明和验证等等，还存在较多不完善之处，迫切需要进一步深入研究。

Dialogic Syntax still calls for urgent efforts to tackle the multiple deficiencies in the following aspects: the delimitation of the phenomenon and resonance, the scope of dialogicality and intertextuality, the definition of syntactic relation and syntactic unit, the efficacy of dialogic syntactic analysis via Diagraph, the relationship between Resonance Principle and other established pragmatic principles, the cognitive explorations, and its application, theoretical demonstration and neurolinguistic confirmation.
